Kill Canyon is a recording studio, record label, + design/creative agency based out of Nashville, TN. It's founder, Tyler James, is a producer, songwriter, designer, and singer in the band Escondido. He released a number of solo albums in the 2000s before joining the Los Angeles based Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros in 2010 as their keyboardist. Debuting Escondido in 2013, the band's album gained critical acclaim and led to an apprearance on Conan O'brien and tours with bands like Lord Huron, The Lone Bellow, & The Staves. His songs have been used in a number of TV shows, ad campaigns, and film soundtracks including HBO "Girls" and ABC's 'Nashville'. James is also one of the founding members of Ten Out of Tennessee, an artist collective formed in 2005 which helped bring national attention to Nashville's non-country music scene.
